This week, we all enjoyed reading a lovely story called Only One You by Linda Kranz. This sweet story is about a little fish named Adri. Adri's parents share some important wisdom about life with their young son. Adri's parents hope to guide him with their wisdom as he sets out to explore the world.
After reading the story, we carefully looked at all the fish in this beautiful book. We learned that each fish is beautiful and unique. We talked about how all of the learners in our classroom are also beautiful and unique. Each of us also has our own thoughts and our own feelings. The learners were then given the opportunity to create their own special fish. The learners are very proud of their creations and are excited you will get to see them on our bulletin board next week during parent conferences.
