Happy Thanksgiving!

It is hard to believe it is Thanksgiving weekend already and the kindergarten students have been in school for six weeks now.  Time files by so quickly these days.  I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.

A very big thank you for our wonderful parent volunteers for joining us on our "fall walk". It was feeling a little like December on our walk.  But the learners enjoyed our time outside, observing the changes in nature and loved writing their names in the snow.

Just a friendly reminder,  on Wednesday October 10th our School Council Meeting will take place from 6:30 - 8:30p.m.  All parents are invited to attend.  School council meetings are a great way to support and enhance student learning.  It is also a wonderful opportunity to get to work with other parents, teachers, and the admin team and get to know your school community even better.  I would strongly encourage all of you to try and attend a few parent council meetings this year.  I think you will find it very informative.
