Valentine's Day

A big thank you to all of our wonderful parents who came in last week and helped the students with our felting projects.  Thank you so much for volunteering your time.  We heart you.  The students loved doing a special felting project with Ms. Kerry and their felting projects turned out amazing. Thank you to all of the parents,  for taking the time and helping your child write Valentine's Day cards for their classmates.  Valentine's cards provide a meaningful opportunity for students to practice their printing and letter recognition skills.

Today, the learners all created a special "mailbox" today for their Valentine's Day cards. Tomorrow the learners will be given time in class to deliver their cards.  The learners will also participate in a variety of Valentine's Day literacy centers.  It's going to be a fun and very busy day.
